A Stereotypical Adolescent?
Loud, ridiculous, rebellious, unmanageable, and up to no good… these are just some of a wide number of stereotypes that are attributed to American teenagers. What is it about teenagers that make the remainder of society seem to switch against these people? I believe there are many misconceptions about young adults. Many persons in different years sincerely assume that all young adults are up to no good, and are also guaranteed difficulty no matter where they may be. I am not quarrelling that teens like that may exist, because there are plenty of all of them out there, but it really bothers me personally that one sort of teenager has become able to mess up the image coming from all other teens.
Individually I think why these stereotypes apply more to me because My spouse and i am a male. Not only is it a male teenager, I also have noticed that persons think adversely of me because I actually wear a longer hair style than is typically expected in world. Some people increase long frizzy hair to show rebellion, or to be unique, but We wouldn't classify myself in either of those categories, I just enjoy having it more than short-hair. But for that reason, many users of society link specific stereotypes of male teenagers to me because I demonstrate long curly hair. I could be regarded as many different issues including: edgy, troubled, furious, arrogant, or any other kind of stereotype out there. How could any person possibly claims to know all of these false claims simply based upon my grow older, and my personal gender?
Sometimes it can be annoying when people consider certain precautions around teenagers, because they believe that we are reckless, and dangerous. Parents will mix to the reverse side with the street using their kids, people clear sidewalks when jogging, other motorists tense up on the road, and while this is certainly happening, others will keep one particular eye cautiously watching, in order to make sure that all of the rotten teens don't do anything dangerous.
